On 1st August 2009, Comfort Management participated in its first team event, the OSIM Triathlon. East Coast Park saw a group of about 15 enthusiastic Comfort staff and some of their family, proudly clad in uniformed jerseys, that sunny Saturday morning. Since it was the first sports event ever being taken part in, Comfort decided to sign up for the Relay event in the Mini Triathlon, which comprised a 200m swim, 10km cycling and 2km run. There were 5 teams of 3 participants each to take part in each leg of the Triathlon. Every participant put in immense effort, and despite feeling tired, pushed themselves on to successfully complete their leg of the race and "pass the baton" to their team member. This was heartwarming to watch, and emphasized the team spirit ingrained in every employee. As it was a relay, the participants who were waiting for their turn or had completed, also joined the crowds in cheering on for their fellow colleagues, making the latter motivated to complete their part of the race faster. After the event, every Comfort staff, having victoriously finished, proudly held up their medals and put up a united front to take some group photographs. All in all, this Triathlon showed that the Comfort team excels in not just work, but also in other aspects like play, and everyone knows how to have a good time! View our event photos below:
