Empire Tower, considered as the heart of Sathorn in the Central Business District and the largest office complex in the city of Bangkok, has embarked on eco-friendly trail and engaged EnergyConservation.sg to optimise the building ACMV system to improve efficiency.
In Phase 1 - resulted to 67% plant room energy savings in year 2014:
- VSD for Cooling Tower and Pumps at Water Cooled Package Units (WCPU) Plant Room
- CO & Temperature sensors
- VSD at Carpark
In Phase 2 & 3 – achieved energy savings of 47% of building plant room in year 2015:
- VSD for Cooling Tower and Pumps
- Replaced existing pumps to high efficiency Pumps at Water Cooled Package Units (WCPU) Plant Room
Pledging to maintain its green journey, Empire Tower has adopted a unique approach in sustainability facilities management, thorough reduction in chemical usage and using only energy saving products.
